Apple to settle lawsuit on inadvertent app purchases by kids

Apple Inc. has agreed to a class action lawsuit that says that customers were charged when their children are inadvertently downloaded some applications from the online store of the company to settle, a court filing showed.

Under the proposed scheme, Apple would have to pay about $ 100 million has approved a credit of $ 5 to provide iTunes store up to 23 million customers affected, the court filing. The final amount may vary.
